It's march and I'm mad

Hello kobspeak! I'm Andy and I work as a manager for the Kobiverse here. Aside from my assorted duties to do with kob, I spend much of my time watching and pretending I know a lot about college basketball. With that in mind, today is the second day of the NCAA basketball tournament and I was already out of the running in my bracket pool last night at about 8 o'clock after marquette and Georgetown lost. So as this is my first post on kobspeak, I'm going to sound off on the tourny and my failure as a gambler.

I spent 4 years of college working directly with basketball teams in division 3 and division 1 (at DePaul of the powerhouse big east conference) so I should have some sort of informed opinion on this whole thing. I am very dissappointed at both my poor guessing ability as well in my steadfast faith in the Big East conference. I picked marquette to win 2 games, georgetown to win 3 games, but outside of the B.E., I stupidly picked UTEP to win two games (they might be the only team to completely fall apart in their game who wasn't totally overmatched) and had faith in the underachieving and 4th seeded Vanderbilt to pull through. All of this made this year my worst first day performance since I started doing brackets religiously in sophomore year of high school.

So since this is my only steady gambling vice, its not so bad that I lost 10 bucks to one of the 5 other waiters at my restaurant who joined the pool. So that's my rant for today, hopefully the lesson anyone reading this will get is the only safe bet is to bet on KOB as the next best thing!
